Iron reshaft process

Step 1
At first, the replacing shaft should be matched with the old shaft. Choose the right sized shaft, usually, most shafts are 335”

The second step is the removing part. The shaft may either be steel or graphite. The detaching process is quite different for them.

First, take the leather gloves. Then heat the gun for 20 to 25 seconds. Then place the shaft holder and tighten the vice.
You can pull the lead off by twisting it. The heat must go through the face, hosel, and sole unlit it loses.

For graphite shaft
The detaching process is kind of the same initially. You have to use a shaft puller and repeat the process. To remove the graphite shaft, use a heat gun and put the shaft at the extractor. Then turn on the tractor with a box wrench. The shaft will be loose at this moment.

After removing the shaft, clean the inside of the hosel. This time you should use sandpapers to rub any stubborn stain or rust. Then wash and dry them out.

Drivers vary to 1.25 inches, mostly 1 inch is used. You need to know which driver is needed. To insert into the shaft, you need to remove the paint on the tip. Use another sandpaper to make it even.

After cleaning the tip, mix the epoxy. Keep it for up to 24 hours to set well.

Apply glue by rotating the shaft. Ensure glue is properly placed all over the tip. Make sure the amount is not much to make it messy.

Now is the final step. Reshaft your preferred shaft by aligning properly. Either graphite or steel, the alining process is the same for both of them. Then add the grip. Keep them for the next 24 hours to set perfectly.
